Not only are things going to get smaller but things are going to get a lot thinner. Apparently, one of the tech giants next incarnations is going to be around 6mm, that puts it around the same size of the new iPod touch, but could this lead to Bendgate 2.0? You'd have thought that Apple would have got the hint from the massive PR disaster when hundreds of Youtubers decided it would be a hilarious thing to bend. Well no, and, if anything, its only made the team more determined to make sure it succeeds. Many people have suggested that the iPhone 7 will 'probably' be around the same size as the iPod touch which is 6.1mm, so it wouldn't be the most ridiculous suggestion (also, when did an iPod Touch cost £159?). If Apple are making plans to shave around 0.6 to 0.9mm off of the current iPhone 6s, it would mean a re-casing of the internal housing to make sure the new model didn't have the 'bend factor'. Where's The Proof?: Well, who doesn't want a thin phone? It's practically the flip phone of 2015. But supplier reports obtained by appleinsider.com said that in a research note, the iPhone 7 will be the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever produced at around 6mm, making it around the same size as current iPod Touch models. I suppose what speculation insiders are asking is that, is it possible for the iPhone to get too thin? Because Apple looks like theyre going to keep making it's premium seller thinner until the device is able to chop your vegetables for you.
