Ok, so this one is a bit boring unless youre a true nerd. The iPhone 7 is apparently going to have the same 2 gigabytes of RAM as the iPhone 6s, the larger iPhone 7 Plus will add another gigabyte for even greater performance. I mean, imagine the possibilities, you can play as much Candy Crush you'd want without your device seriously overheating - that's a bonus you really want to keep. It's something which could be plausible though. If you look at Apple's new iPad Pro which was released just a few weeks ago, its RAM upgrade to the new 'A9X', the company's third-generation chip with, what Apple call, '64-bit desktop-class architecture', sees a shift to tablets taking over from the MacBook range, something which the company has always tried to protect in the past. Where's The Proof?: This evidence came from the same supplier reporters that said the iPhone 7 will be around 6mm depth, but I dont think Apple will actually make the jump because why would you even need 3GB of RAM? The MacBooks start from 4GB and theyre a lot bigger boys than the palm-sized phablets but, knowing Apple, they wont just put 3GB of RAM inside a device unless theyre adding some serious design additions. Many expected to see the jump from 1GB to 2GB inside the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This didnt happen, but, If Apple's plan is to up its tablet (or 'phablet') products then it would see a shift in the company's 'Eco System' plan as the next iPhone would work in harmony - in terms of RAM - with it's big sister.
