Top of the rumour-mill is a number of battery-related improvements and theres a very good reason why theyre not going to happen - capitalism. Many analysts have said that the iPhone 7 will see a better battery and others have even suggested wireless charging, this was due to the fact the iPhone 6s failed to produce any battery updates. Any big upgrades to the battery are out the window, why? Because Apple makes too much money on A, their constantly-breaking iPhone cables and B, the third party add-ons to improve battery life, from apps (that dont work, they actually make things worse) right through to additional battery packs. Where's The Proof? There's not much, unfortunately. Apple has steadily improved the battery life of their devices over the years but it's never been at the top of their list. But one thing's for sure, battery life is one of the biggest areas of potential improvement and one that might be most welcomed anyone who is an Apple fan.
