Alongside combat sports athletes, arguably the most popular profession of JRE guests is stand-up comedy. Joe has hosted a whos-who of the comedy world across over 1400 episodes, from budding talents to some of the world's most recognisable names.
Which makes it all the more perplexing as to why the hilarious Dave Chapelle has never appeared on the show. It's not like Chapelle and Rogan aren't close, the pair have been friends for years and were even set to headline a stand-up comedy tour across America before the current global situation forced the shows to be cancelled.
Joe has explained previously that Chapelle has stated that he would come on the podcast but the pair have as yet been unable to work it into their busy schedules. However, as fans, we can only hope that this changes when the JRE moves to Spotify, and maybe even have Chapelle's Show co-star, and friend of the podcast, Bill Burr also feature for maximum hilarity.
