Samsung bragged that both the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ hit the highest DxO marks (widely-used image quality benchmarks) of any phone camera available. The phones have identical camera specs, both featuring 16 MP rear cameras, 5 MP selfie snappers. The rear camera has a f/1.9 aperture to make images nice and bright, and has the usual perks of OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), LED flash and Face Capture. A new camera feature that Samsung has introduced in its latest phablets is VDIS (video image stabilisation), which will work together with OIS to make video recordings (up to 4k) to reduce shakiness and help recordings remain stable. On paper, there isn't much to separate the cameras on these two devices from those of the Galaxy S6, which may disappoint those people clamouring for a higher pixel count. However, we're still talking about a camera that's arguably the best on the market - so let's not despair too much.
