Shanghai Disneyland is set out similar to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom and other Disneyland parks, with a castle taking centre stage and surrounded by different lands. Each land has its own unique story to tell. This newest park from Disney will feature 6 of these different lands, some similar to those that have come before, others are brand new. Just like every other Magic Kingdom style park, Shanghai will feature a Fantasyland, Adventure Isle and a Tomorrowland. Fantasyland is dedicated to fairytales. It is the home of Princesses and Princes, Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland. In Fantasyland you can fly with Peter Pan, ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and sing with Anna and Elsa. It's the perfect place for your very own little knights and fair maidens to get lost in the world of storybooks.

Adventure Isle is similar to the Adventurelands that guests have experienced at other Disney Parks, however the majority of the attractions are new. Roaring Rapids is a water rapid ride that takes guests on a thrilling adventure and guests can experience Soaring Over the Horizon. Tomorrowland asks visitors to look to the future. In the world of tomorrow you can encounter Darth Vader, rescue planets with Buzz Lightyear and you can enter the Grid and race on TRON Lightcycles. In Tomorrowland a futurist adventure awaits. Shanghai Disneyland will be the first Magic Kingdom style park not to feature a Main Street USA as guests enter the park. Instead visitors will enter down Mickey Avenue, a street dedicated to Mickey Mouse and all his pals. Treasure Cove is a land entirely dedicated to Pirates of the Caribbean. Here you can ride canoes, catch the Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack€™s Stunt Spectacular and of course ride the reimagined Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. Gardens of Imagination will sit in the traditional hub area and feature meet and greets with Disney characters, Chinese Gardens and the Disney Park favourite of Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It seems that Shanghai Disneyland is a mixture of some classic Disney favourites and all new experiences to try.
