8. There Are Brand New Rides

The classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride is getting a makeover with the newly re-imagined Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure! Thrill seekers and shipmates will set sail on a swashbuckling adventure of treasure on boats that don't just go forward, but go sideways and backwards! TRON Lightcycle Power Run invites you to step into the Grid and enter the world of TRON. On one of Disney's fastest indoor rollercoasters, guests will race in teams aboard Lightcycles in the specially constructed canopy. Similar to Soarin' at Epcot and Disneyland California, Shanghai Disney will be taking guests on a flight. In Adventure Isle, Soaring Over the Horizon will take guests on a journey over some of "Earths iconic landmarks, cities and natural attractions.
Shanghai Disney Guests will soon be able to take a raft adventure on Roaring Rapids in Adventure Isle. Try to make it safely back to basecamp as you journey through whirlpools whilst volcanos erupt around you. But be careful, for a fearsome beast is close by; Qaráq is a crocodile like animal who is waiting for you just around the river bend. Even if you have been to other Disney Parks, it looks like there is still so much to discover in Shanghai Disneyland.
