10. Capricorn (22nd December - 19th January)
Capricorn is usually a very ambitious and driven sign that is able to take on very high powered jobs with lots of responsibility. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn - the Mr Serious and Sober of planets. Saturn also has a wicked, dry sense of humour, so Capricorn people - despite their desire to run the world singlehandedly - are actually funny people to be around. Leadership issues are a major thing for Capricorns. If you consider the fact that the goat is the symbol to represent Capricorn - it is a most apt description of the Capricorn's skills. The goat can jump to the highest heights to feast on the best plants. There is a parallel there to Capricorns themselves who go on to strive for and achieve success. With a huge reverence for convention and doing the right thing, Capricorns come across as being stern, patriarchal and authoritarian. They sometimes fail to communicate their appreciation for other people. Team sports excite them, as does any pursuit that would let them to compete for the top spot. As an earth sign, Capricorn is fundamentally down to earth and practical. Nevertheless, they adore power and the long trek up the hill to their success. Capricorn is compatible with Taurus and Virgo
