Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights 30: 10 Things We'd Love To See

5. Bill & Ted X AoV

It was safe to say that many Halloween Horror Nights fans were gutted to learn in 2017 that it would be the last time that Bill & Ted would be putting on a performance.

Perhaps in 2020 we could see a return of the most excellent duo, along with a new HHN staple, Academy of Villains.

The rumour mill began to churn when fans noted that HHN29's exit survey asked guests about Bill & Ted. It's also worth noting that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have also retuned to the film franchise with a new movie to be released this year. For HHN fans could these two coincidences be coming together at the perfect time.

Personally, I'd be love to see Bill & Ted join up with Academy of Villains. The AoV entertainers have been embraced by the HHN fan base and do provide something different to what we see in the rest of the park.

Without knowing the full reasons for the departure of Bill & Ted (although I imagine Universal Parks Legal Team breathed a sigh of relief at its ending), perhaps there is a way to bring back Bill & Ted without compromising too much on the adult entertainment. The inclusion of Academy of Villains could certainly help. Bill & Ted have always made use of dancers, seeing the pair amongst the highly accomplished AoV would be worth seeing.

Bill & Ted demand a big arena but I still would hope that it wouldn't mean relegating AoV back to the small stage. I'd like to believe we can have our cake and eat it too.
