Universal Orlando Resort Announces Holidays 2022 Celebration Dates
Things are getting festive between 12th November and 1st January 2023.
Universal Orlando Resort's Holiday's celebration is returning this year and will be just as magical as ever.
Starting on 12th November and running every day until 1st January 2023, Universal's festive fun takes over both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
Christmas is back in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, with beautiful garlands and lights decorating both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Celestina Warbeck will begin her festive songs and the Frog choir will add some well known Christmas songs to their repertoire. "The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” transforms the famous wizard school each evening with projections featuring some of festive Harry Potter moments.
Grinchmas is back at Universal's Islands of Adventure with the big green mean one. Seuss Landing will be transformed with "whimsical yuletide décor, including oversized candy canes, twisting Christmas trees, wreaths and beautiful tinsel ornaments". The Whos will also be taking to the streets to spread their Christmas cheer.
Get fully into the Christmas spirit with the stage production of “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular”. Watch the Grinch and his faithful friend Max as they perform a "retelling" of the classic story. The Grinch will also be around as part of a special meet and greet.
It wouldn't be a celebration without a parade. Universal Orlando have once again teamed up with Macy's to create a parade like you might only see on Thanksgiving in New York. Each night, huge floats will take to the sky with characters you are used to seeing in your favourite Dreamworks and Illumination movies. Shrek, the Minions and the crazy characters from Madagascar all feature in this wonderful spectacle. Santa himself also makes an appearance, using his magic touch to light the huge Christmas tree.
Mannheim Steamroller will also be making a return to Universal Studios Florida this holiday season with live concerts on December 3, 4, 10 and 11. Universal's Holiday's celebration is filled with delicious treats, fun merchandise and joyous music. Even the resorts hotel's have their very own activities.
Universal's Holidays celebration is included with your regular park entry so you don't need to purchase anything else to enjoy all the seasonal offerings this winter season.
