Universal Orlando Resort's Mardi Gras: Every Food Booth Reviewed
China
The China booth had three dishes, with two of them suitable for vegans, making this booth a winner for those on a vegan diet. This booth was also incredibly well priced and none of the food dishes was priced over $5.99.
Even the speciality drink of Hong Kong Boba Tea at this booth was suitable for vegetarians.
Here we decided to try the Potstickers, rather than the Szechuan Noodle Salad or Spicy Smashed Cucumber. The pork potstickers were the cheapest item on the menu at $5.49.
This item was great and the accompanying chilli sauce provided a warming flavour without being over powering. If we'd been served these in a restaurant we wouldn't have complained about the quality. This was one of the tastiest dishes we tried.
Germany
At the Germany booth there were five food options to choose from, making it one of the biggest booths at the Mardi Gras International Flavors of Carnaval.
Here you could get Chicken Schnitzel, Currywurst, Käsespätzle, Bavarian Pretzel with Obatzda and for a sweet treat Mutzen. Prices ranged from $4.99 to $11.49, making it a great stand for those with any budget. This booth also had two dishes suitable for vegetarians, which again made it a more inclusive booth.
We chose the cheapest dish on the menu, the Käsespätzle. This german mac & cheese was a good portion, though I recommend eating it with a knife as well a fork. This dish was crispy and great value for money.
