Universal Theme Parks 2024 & Beyond: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

The much rumoured Fast & Furious coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood was officially announced back in July.

Giving away few details about the new roller coaster, Universal informed fans that the "state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to engulf guests within the dynamic Fast & Furious universe."

Fast & Furious is one of the biggest movie franchises that Universal Pictures owns and it seemed only a matter of time before the thrilling exploits of Dominic Toretto and his "family" would become a thrill attraction.

Although Fast & Furious can be found in Universal's parks in both Orlando and Hollywood, these simulator style attractions haven't won over many fans of the franchise who were anticipating a more high thrill experience.

Universal have not yet revealed if the opening of the new coaster will bring with it a closure of the Fast & Furious section of the Hollywood park's studio tour.

The new coaster is yet to be given an opening date, but with construction well underway we hope that the new attraction will be racing into Universal Studios Hollywood in 2025.
