Facebook's f8 developer conference takes place today in San Francisco, with big announcements expected from the social network. The event has been long-since sold out, but thanks to Live Stream you can watch the even unfold live right here on WhatCulture. Things kick-off with the opening keynote speech scheduled for 10am PT, with the live streaming of the breakout sessions starting to follow. The Live Stream from f8 is set to begin at 5.30pm GMT (which is 30 minutes prior to the opening keynote). Facebook are rumoured to be announcing many new features, including a re-working of their existing profile pages and a music interface to rival MySpace and iTunes. It is also expected that an announcement will be made regards the future of the popular "like" functionality. It is thought this will evolve to incorporate the new music elements, with "Read" and "Listen" buttons similar to the existing like buttons expected.
