Bearing all that in mind, there's really only one way Brendan Rodgers could improve Liverpool's game: by quitting. He's certainly come close to losing the job plenty of times. After that 6-1 loss to Stoke the manager appeared resigned to his fate, stating in a post-match interview that if the owners want me to go, I go. It is as simple as that. Really though, staying on isn't doing anybody any favours. Rodgers continues to flounder in the manager's position at Anfield, and it's clear to anybody within a thousand miles of the Kop that he's dragging the team down with him. That doesn't look good for him, either, since the longer he waits around and continues to fail the harder it'll be to find another job after the fact. If he's managed to screw up a top flight squad like Liverpool for years, who's going to make him gaffer of their similarly big team? But if Rodgers just left, instead of begging and pleading to stay at each Fenway meeting, he might open the door for a manager more suited to Liverpool, and also go coach a squad more befitting his level of skill and style. So...Swansea?
