10 Biggest Football Stadiums In The World

1. Rungnado May Day Stadium (Pyongyang, North Korea) - 150,000 Capacity

So, if you have made it this far, this is the biggest stadium in the world. The multi-purpose stadium was completed on May 1, 1989 (hence the name), and is sometimes used by the North Korean national football team for their home matches. Perhaps a controversial choice on the list as this stadium is best known (in North Korea) as the venue for the 'Arirang' gymnastic and artistic performances, which has been recognizsed by the Guinness World Records as the largest event in the world with more than 100,000 participants, and also the venue for the celebration of Kim Il-sung and the North Korean Nation.

I'm a 24 year old working in insurance; this is not the life I thought I would have as a boy. I was certain I would be playing for England by now, unfortunately I lack the necessary stamina, skill, fitness, strength and technique. However the one thing I do not lack is passion for the game and I am able to, wrongly or rightly, conjure up an opinion about any aspect of the game. Good luck with that.
