5. Soccer City (Johannesburg, South Africa) - 94,700 Capacity

This stunning stadium, originally opened in 1989, was completely renovated in 2009 to be used as the venue for the opening match of the 2010 World Cup Final. Perhaps more importantly, the stadium was also the venue for Nelson Mandela's first speech in Johannesburg following his release from prison. Less interestingly, Neil Diamond also played there in 2011 as part of his Concert Tour - probably to less fanfare than Mandela receive though...
