Brian Bosworth will go down as one of the great college players of all-time, and the linebacker believed his own hype after some mighty displays for the Oklahoma Sooners. His flamboyant style, controversial statements and general media attention-hogging put "The Boz" on a high platform in time for his tremendous fall. He was thrown off the Oklahoma team after being found guilty of steroid use, which only made his mouth louder and the hype greater. He went to the Seahawks in 1987 and only managed 24 games, never coming close to living up to the mammoth expectations brought on by his boasting, and retired after three seasons due to injury, before embarking on a more successful acting career, which really isn't a great achievement.
