10 Candidates For BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2012

6. Sarah Storey (Cycling)

Sarah is imbued with a strength of character that is barely contained in her slender frame. Another Paralympian on the list, but one who has succeeded in both pool (at the 1992 Games aged just 14) and in the Velodrome. This year she won the first British gold at the Paralympics, amassing a total of 4 gold in all, which takes her overall medal haul to an astonishing 22 medals across both swimming and cycling disciplines (of which 11 are gold). A natural born winner, who has the enviable ability to achieve success in anything she puts her mind to, Sarah Storey is the definition of a champion in every sense of the word.

My superpower is the ability to tell people about sports (football), games, movies, TV and general geekery even if they want to hear it or not.
