Depending on what sort of sport you're into the most, you might have a different name for the kick you see in this knockout. If you're a professional wrestling fan then you'll probably call this an enziguri, if you're into football then it's a scissor kick and if you're into MMA or kickboxing it's a head kick. Whatever you want to call it, we should all be in agreement that it's simply bad ass.

Back in the day when no one really cared about the UFC's lightweight division €“ even though it's grown to become one of the best weight classes in the world €“ Yves Edwards and Josh Thomson were two of the best competing.

While everyone knew Edwards was an extremely talented fighter, Thomson was far from a walkover himself. When the Bahamian pushed Thomson away for a split second after having control of his waist and throwing him around, many fans were confused as to why he would do such a thing. Then it happened.

Edwards launched himself into the air using his left leg and slammed his right shin into Thomson's cranium. What made it more brutal than a lot of other finishes is that there was no way Thomson could see it coming, meaning he could do nothing about it.
