When it comes to fighting, especially in mixed martial arts, it's very rare that a technique is going to land perfectly. There are just too many variables involved that could stop a fighter from hitting the type of blow they've been practising all through their training camp. However, if you were looking for arguably the closest thing to perfection in striking, then Chris Beal's flying knee knockout of Patrick Williams could very well be the most impressive flying finish you'll ever see.

Following a competitive, back-and-forth round-and-a-half, it looked like both fighters were cancelling each other out. Then out of nowhere, like a ninja jack-in-a-box, Beal launched himself through the air and smashed his right knee into Williams' jaw before turning away in celebration.

Beal's flying knee was so spectacular it managed to beat out a host of other outrageous finishes, including Luke Rockhold's bone bending submission over Tim Boetsch and Danny Castillo's vicious knockout victory over Charlie Brenneman and ear him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
