10 Footballers You Completely Forgot Played For Liverpool
2. Paul Jones

A 50-capped Welsh international goalkeeper would normally be someone who is well remembered at a big club, but in the case of Paul Jones and Liverpool, it's hard to picture.
Jones made his name with Southampton where he made just shy of 200 appearances .
However, with Liverpool in the midst of a goalkeeping crisis back in 2004, Jones made a short-term move to Anfield and was thrust into the action on a couple of occasions.
Well into his 30's at the time, Jones became one of the oldest debutants to ever pull on a Liverpool kit before continuing his career with the likes of Wolves and QPR.
Liverpool have had some fine goalkeepers over the years who will be well remembered. While Jones won't be well remembered due to his short time with the club, he was still a quality stopper and would have been more than capable of manning the sticks if he was required for a longer stint.
