7. Ossie Ardiles
Ossie Ardiles will be most well known for his stint as a Tottenham player in the 80's and also his performances for the Argentinian national team. He was a highly skilled midfielder who worked brilliantly with Glenn Hoddle and endured himself to Spurs fans and became a cult hero of English football. He returned to Tottenham in 1993 in the position as manager hoping to replicate his success as a player. Sadly, it was not to be. Despite the signing of Jurgen Klinsmann, Spurs perpetually lingered in mid-table. Much of this was because of Ardiles' kamikaze tactics that deployed five forwards and essentially no central midfielder. It was a colossal failure and he was eventually dismissed. Since then he has managed an array of smaller clubs in countries ranging from Japan to Israel.
