10 Heaviest Hitters In The UFC Heavyweight Division Today

Tai Tuivasa is a name newer UFC fans (or older fans who haven't kept up) might not know. The Australian, however, is a training partner of Mark Hunt, which should give you an idea of what his skillset is.

Tuivasa is big. He's boisterous. He's young, and surprisingly agile considering his hefty frame. In his UFC debut, he scored a flying knee knockout of Rashad Coulter. It was just his sixth professional fight. Oh, and it was November of last year. In less than twelve months, Tuivasa has taken the UFC by storm. He's been earmarked as a future star, the next Mark Hunt, and not just because of the relationship between them.

Tuivasa's a personality, in the cage and outside of it. Don't know what a "Shoey" is? Well, it's a glass of beer, drank from a shoe. With a good dollop of spit in it. Tuivasa partakes after every win, right there by the cage.

As for his credentials as a heavy hitter, well, eight knockouts in nine wins (we're counting that knee!) will get you on this list. Even more impressively, Tuivasa has only left the first round once in his entire career. That was in his most recent effort, a unanimous decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion Andre Arlovski.
