3. Daniel Sturridge
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUx1Homze0I Daniel Sturridges blistering goalscoring form since he signed for Liverpool in January 2012 is reminiscent to a dormant volcano finally wreaking havoc in a fit of pure mayhem. One might get the sense that the England internationals pent-up frustrations at having been forced to play second fiddle and out of position at the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea finally led to him bursting like a faucet, banging in goals left, right and centre for fear of having to revert back to the dreaded right-wing position. It took him just seven minutes to get off the mark for the Reds, bagging a routine goal on a muddy pitch against Mansfield Town in the FA Cup third round. He would follow that up with a strike at Old Trafford, 12 minutes after having been introduced as a second-half substitute. He was subsequently granted a first league start against Norwich City - a 5-0 victory in which the former Chelsea forward helped himself to a third goal for his new club. This meant that he had become the first Red since Ray Kennedy in 1974 to score three goals in his first three appearances for the club. He went on to bag a 25-yard piledriver against former club Manchester City at the beginning of February, and continued his rich vein of goalscoring form to finish the season with an impressive tally of 11 goals in 16 games. Despite having to contend with the lethal Luis Suarez alongside him for the majority of his Anfield career, Sturridges goalscoring streak has never dried up, and he managed 21 league goals last season. Since arriving in January 2013, he simply has refused to stop scoring - with only injury preventing him from doing so in recent times - and his goal ratio of 36 strikes in 52 games for the club speaks for itself.
