2. Communication Lines Between Club And Fans Have Improved

Sean Dyche is always keen to outline the reality that faces Burnley; that everyone needs to understand the constraints. And barring the odd messageboard dissenters, everyone does. The new Chief Operating Officer Dave Baldwin was brought in, amongst other things, to develop supporter links. He achieved huge progress at Bradford City during his seven years there and brings a wealth of communications experience in terms of meeting supporters face to face, attending supporter groups and explaining the processes that exist at the football club. The two co-chairmen are both Burnley born and bred. Both take time out to communicate with fans either by the club website or in person at supporter meetings particularly those in London where they are based. There is no sense of €˜us€™ and €˜them.€™ Six out of seven directors are from Burnley. The seventh has lived in the area for 30 years.
