10 Most Brutal Motocross Crashes Of All Time

6. Chad Reed At Millville, 2011

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC4f9TCg4zw Chad Reed was making a massive statement in 2011. He was riding for himself after many critics had written the Australian off. However, he started the 2011 season with a bang and was winning races against the best riders in the sport. It would not be his success that would be the highlight of Reed€™s 2011. Instead, a horrific crash at the Millville national would be the talking point. In an interview with motorcycle-usa.com, Reed said: €œIt was like... business as usual, you know. We won the first one. I got a good start in the second one and I was trying to go for it. I made a pass for the lead and at that point I was like €˜sweet€™. €œThe next breath of air I€™m flying through the air without a motorcycle and I€™m thinking €˜what the hell just happened?€™ It was brutal and scary actually. I was pretty beat up.€ Reed somehow managed to get up and finish the race, scoring six valuable points. This is arguably the most famous crash in recent years.
