10 Players Ian Cathro Could Bring With Him To Newcastle
2. Paco Alcácer
Alacer is one of the fastest rising stars in the Spanish game at the moment. After scoring 42 goals in 64 games for Valencia's B team, he has gone on to notch 28 in 77 for their first XI. Last season he scored 14 in 36, establishing himself as the club's number one striker while a bigger name in Alvaro Negredo struggled to five in 29 games. The 21-year-old also broke into the Spanish national side in 2014 and has an impressive four goals in six appearances. He's an intelligent player, around the same height as Ayoze Perez but with a lot more meat on his bones to put around. I'm hesitant in comparing him to the great Raul, but there's something about the way he goes about his business of the pitch that reminds you of the former Champions League record scorer. Alcácer extended his contract with Valencia until 2020 in January and had his buy-out clause raised to 80 million. We can dream... Maybe Ian Cathro is the godfather to his children or something.
