10 Players Who Probably Regret Joining Man Utd

4. Marouane Fellaini

Though only signed last summer, Marouane Fellaini may already be regretting joining Manchester United. Signed from Everton for an eyebrow-raising £27 million, the midfielder has largely failed to justify his huge price tag and can only be considered a flop based on his 12 months at the club so far. Despite finishing as Everton's top goalscorer in 2012-13, scoring 11 Premier League goals, Fellaini has yet to open his account for new club United, having not scored a single goal in 21 games. Doubts have been raised about his ability to play at the highest levels, and many wonder if he has it in him to make it at Manchester United. Having faced a barrage of criticism from his first season at the club, and having raised more questions than answered with his performances, Fellaini may well be wishing he had stayed at Everton, where he was one of the Toffee's undisputed best players. He may further regret his move away from Goodison Park having seen his former club finish higher in the league than United during a disappointing season under David Moyes in 2013-14.
