That doesn't hide the fact he regrets leaving the Toffees. Pienaar struggled to gain a foothold in the Spurs starting 11 and after two seasons called it quits at White Hart Lane. Since rejoining Everton his partnership down the left flank with Baines has been a joy for fans and neutrals alike to see. Special praise must go out to Daniel Levi for selling the player for twice the amount of money. The guy was older and unfit.
