Money, money, money... In the same way that Loic Remy was apparently unhappy with the paltry multi-million pound salary Arsenal proposed him, Peter Odemwingie made a similar scoffing sound. Back when the transfer almost took place a source close to Odemwingie said: Peter is not happy that, while the Gunners are willing to meet West Broms transfer fee, there will not be much change in his personal terms. The club are proposing what he considers to be peanuts for him. Since rejecting the Gunners offer, Odemwingie has not gone on to establish himself as an international superstar, nor was he one when Arsenal approached the striker, so it seems rather rich that he had his "advisors" - who he should definitely sack considering his QPR debacle - publically denounce the offer. He hasn't won any trophies, nor has he won any plaudits with fans - and in particular West Brom fans when he drove to QPR wrongly thinking his deal was on. Odemwingie is a decent striker, but had he subdued his ego and greed Wenger may have made him great.
I have been described as a sportsman with the brain of an athlete and the body of a scientist. Since it was established that playing wouldn't work out for me I have taken to writing.
