10 Popular UFC Fighters That Will Never Be Champion

1. Michael Bisping

Current Middleweight, 25-6, Age 35 Older than he appears, Bisping won The Ultimate Fighter 3 at Light Heavyweight. Polarizing, charismatic, boisterous, and dashing, he has become most well known for all the drama he gets involved in with his upcoming opponents. The only person he has not gotten into verbal fisticuffs with was the undeniable Brian Stann. Granted, the friction he has caused puts some amount of butts in the seats. He has thirty fights on his record, and the UFC has made it clear by allocating him to their media shows like UFC Tonight, they are comfortable with the heat he creates with his mouth. However, even with gaining the benefit of several €œaccidental€ blows in a few fights, Bisping has lost every single title eliminator fight he has been given. He will make excuses but everytime he has been given a chance to make it to the title match, he has fallen short. It is hard to imagine that a fighter at his age, thirty fights into his career would all of a sudden get a title match and then somehow defeat someone who is younger and probably more physically gifted. He is going to have a long and storied career on the media side of the sport, and will do a great job. But the hard facts say that he is the new Chael Sonnen; good enough to sell tickets, but not great enough to capture the belt.
