Womens Bantamweight, 14-5, Age 27 With all the controversy that had been stirred up with Ronda Rousey, people have forgotten that she was the top Womens Bantamweight at one time. Also lost is her accomplishments as a wrestler and the real threat she offers any woman that she faces. Luckily for the UFC, she has become a very popular asset and her face off with Rousey was one of the highest rated The Ultimate Fighter seasons in while. She seems to have moved to a place in her life when she only wants to get better to take that championship belt from Ronda. It doubtful that she is ever going to beat Ronda. Rousey is only getting better and better, and she has a higher learning curve than Tate from where their paths crossed. Miesha is a tough woman, so she probably isnt a reasonable candidate to drop down classes. Therefore, the best thing that could happen to her is for the UFC to form a Womens Featherweight class at 145. However, Tate would presumably have to deal with Cyborg in that class. Though, her skill set would be better matched against Cristiana than Rousey. Ironically, this would be a match of Tate whose career validation hinges on defeating Rousey vs Cyborg who has spent her career dodging the UFC golden girl. Tate is a tough, former champion but the hard facts say she cant surpass Rousey in the Octagon.
