8. They're Playing Worse Than When John Carver Was In Charge
Despite a recognisable change in their philosophy, Newcastle United's result are worse than when John Carver was in charge of the club. How can that be possible? Well, Carver actually won a game, three in fact and after 20 games in charge he had a win ratio of 15%. McClaren's win ratio is currently 9.09% after beating Northampton Town in the cup he has one win, four draws and six defeats. It's amazing that anyone could be worse than Carver's performance last season and McClaren's 9.09% is currently the worst out of any full-time Magpies' boss throughout the club's entire history. Give him some slack though, he's only been in charge for 11 games...
