10 Reasons UFC Should Bring Back Paul Daley

5. Potential For Fights In The UFC

If Daley did come back to the UFC, there would be so many fights that they could set up. First of all, there are fights with his former rivals. Josh Koscheck still has not officially retired, so there could be potential for that rematch. I'm sure Daley would lobby for it, but I'm not sure what Koscheck would say to fighting somebody he has already beaten. Then there is Tyron Woodley. Much like the Koscheck fight, Daley was simply outclassed by a wrestler. It was a close contest last time and as we know, Daley has the potential for a one punch knockout. It could end differently than it did when they fought in Strikeforce back in 2011. Alexander Yakovlev was Daley's most recent loss when they fought in Moscow last year. Yakovlev joined up with the UFC recently and lost his debut against the always tough Demian Maia. Not to mention a plethora of exciting stand up bouts between himself and the likes of Matt Brown, Thiago Alves, Carlos Condit, Robbie Lawler, Erick Silva, Hector Lombard, as well as many more on top of that. All of those fights I have just mentioned would do great business and many of them would have a great reputation, potentially even co-main events, or main events on smaller cards.
