There are certain fighters that you can physically classify as super human. Hector Lombard and Tyron Woodley are welterweights in that category. In the heavyweight division, Brock Lesnar and Todd Duffee can fit that category. Duffee was so imposing and explosive. which made him out to be such an intriguing prospect. His seven second knockout of Tim Hague was simply from a jab and ground-and-pound. His power was tremendous and continued to show that against Mike Russow in dominating him for the first two rounds. While he was on the receiving end of an amazing knockout and comeback by Russow, he still had shown a lot of promise. Then after Duffee opened up about the lack of fighter pay and having to work a second job, the UFC had released him. It was a very surprising decision to do that to such a touted prospect. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Dana White said that Duffee had "major attitude problems and didn't seem interested in fighting for the UFC". According to Middle Easy, Duffee continued to criticize the company behind the scenes and pulled out of fights repeatedly. That is a justifiable reason to fire someone, but nobody can deny that it was shocking to see him fired when the news broke.
