10 Spurs Players Who Look Like They Don't Care

2. Emmanuel Adebayor

The attitude and commitment of Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been a constant source of questioning throughout his career. He is as inconsistent as they come - both in terms of his on-field demeanour and his level of performance - and this season looks to be showing no improvement. As the club's supposedly lead striker, his two-goal haul simply isn't good enough at this stage in the season, and his recent comments in the media about how the players don't like playing at home because the fans are booing (when he should be using that as an incentive to improve) are actually pretty pathetic. In the recent match against Stoke City, he was due to come on as a substitute, but he decided to change his boots at the last minute, delaying the substitution - not the actions of a man prepared and raring to go. It's all the more disappointing when you consider that he was made the club's vice captain this season and should be leading by example.
