Most disappointing of all for Spurs fans is the fact that Younes Kaboul - the club's newly appointed captain - has shown some serious signs of disinterest on the pitch this season. The big central defender - a man who should be both leading by example and dominating opposing players - has visibly shied away from a number of challenges in the past few games, both on the floor and in the air, and is being out-muscled quite regularly by much smaller, slighter-built centre forwards. What chance are the rest of the team meant to have when the man who leads them is showing signs of not being committed on the pitch? Kaboul has to buck up his ideas and show the rest of his team how they should be playing in order to get them out of the rut they're currently in - and he needs to start now.
