10 Things Liverpool Want You To Forget About Mario Balotelli

4. Fighting With Teammates

Although deep down Balotelli means well, at every club he has been at he has constantly fought with his teammates. While many will say that training ground scraps happen all the time up and down the country, it has happened too often now for it not to be a slight cause of concern. During his time at Inter he fell out with experienced stars like Javier Zanetti and Marco Materazzi, with both of them lambasting him publicly for his immature, troublesome behaviour. At City he had physical altercations with Vincent Kompany, Jerome Boateng and Yaya Toure in training, while he once had an infamous disagreement with Aleksandar Kolarov over who should take a free-kick during a Premier League game against Sunderland. Kompany had to get involved, amid boos from the home fans. This is certainly something that would be extremely unwelcome at Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers having created a wonderful team spirit since arriving at Anfield in the summer of 2012. The last thing the club needs is a disruptive influence coming and causing friction among teammates.
