Joe Rogan announced this live in the cage at UFC 178. Lorenzo Fertitta then backed it up in an interview, actually saying it was 11% at one point. While we'd love to see where the number actually came from (ticketmaster?), and while it's not clear as to whether that includes fans in America of Irish decent, if true, either way, it's still pretty impressive. As McGregor said after the fight, "when one of us goes to war, we all go to war." We'd love to see the after party, by the way. How about an invite? We've got some Irish on our mother's side!
