9. Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary Jersey (2007)

To celebrate the 75th year of Philadelphia Eagles football, the team decided to play the week 3 matchup against the Detroit Lions in jerseys resembling the colours the club wore in 1933, their inaugural season.

A wonderful idea on paper, but the execution left a lot to be desired. The combination of arguably the worst shades of both yellow and blue resulted in the players looking like someone had secretly changed the contrast on a TV set.

The Eagles won the game 56-21, which certainly makes the jerseys sound successful, but considering this was only a year before the Lions went 0-16, we can presume they had no effect on the scoreline.
