10 Worst Sports Jerseys Of All Time
6. Los Angeles Clippers Road Jersey (2015-Present)
The Clippers have long been known as LA's lovable losers. Spending the first 30 years or so of their existence in the shadow of their more illustrious neighbours and since 1999, Staples Center co-tenants Los Angeles Lakers, it has been hard for the Clippers to forge their own identity. To be honest, their previous branding looked like a Lakers D-League affiliate and by the time the team actually began to become a success, post-2010 it was clear the Clippers were ready for a rebrand.
It was with great excitement that owner Steve Balmer announced in the 2015 offseason that the team would have a new logo and new jerseys. This excitement turned to fear however when Ballmer unveiled a logo which can only be described as straight out of the clipart folder of Windows XP.
Stick the logo as small as possible on a red vest and you get a monstrosity that may look like a child has spent a few minutes on paint, but is supposed to represent the new era of Clippers basketball.
