11 Potential Inaugural Premier League Hall Of Fame Inductees
5. David Beckham
Perhaps the greatest free kick taker not just in Premier League history, but of all time, David Beckham is surely a worthy mention for the Premier League Hall of Fame. From humble beginnings, Beckham began his youth career with Ridgeway Rovers and was turned away by Tottenham Hotspur in 1991. Sadly for Spurs, that would be a costly error on their part.
With exception to a brief loan spell at Preston North End in 1994, Beckham was a consistent Manchester United player for a large portion of his career. Despite making his senior debut in 1992, Beckham didn't become a fully fledged first team player until 1994 where he made an instant impact, scoring against Galatasaray in his Champions League debut, just three months after making his first full team debut against Port Vale.
Beckham spent ten seasons officially in the Manchester United senior squad from 1993-2003, winning six Premier League titles, the 1999 Champions League and two FA cups before transferring to Real Madrid. The former England captain made 265 appearances for Man United during his years at the club, scoring 62 goals in the process.
