Hailed as the owner of the best first touch in football history, the Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp is one of the fans favourite picks to be selected for the Premier League Hall of Fame on 19th March.

Dennis Bergkamp signed for Arsenal in 1995 from Inter Milan and was considered a high profile signing. Bergkamp would go on to be one of the few members of 2004 invincibles squad to pre-date the arrival of Arsene Wenger. Initially under the management of Bruce Rioch, Bergkamp struggled with the demanding pace of English football and failed to score in his first six matches, but that all changed when Wenger arrived.

Bergkamp seemed rejuvenated after the appointment of Wenger in 1996 and never looked back once he hit form. Dennis Bergkamp played for Arsenal for nine seasons, making 315 Premier League appearances, scoring 87 goals, and earning 94 assists. Bergkamp also won four FA Cups and three Premier League titles during his tenure at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger stated in an interview that Bergkamp was the best player he had ever managed.
