11 Reasons Spurs Fans Should Be Concerned

7. The Emergence Of Other Teams

Last season, Spurs finished in fifth position in the Premier League table behind Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton. This season, Manchester City and Chelsea undoubtedly look like making it a two-horse race for the title, Liverpool will undoubtedly still be competing for a top four place, as will Arsenal and Everton, but it's teams who finished below Spurs last season that they should be worried about. Under Louis van Gaal and with a plethora of new signings, Manchester United should re-emerge as a major threat once things start to click at Old Trafford, but teams like Southampton and West Ham United have also made highly impressive starts that could mean they are actually a threat to Spurs in the top half of the table. Essentially, this season, it will be tougher than ever to achieve success in the Premier League for the Lilywhites.
