12 Most Expensive Transfers In Premier League History

10. Eden Hazard - Lille To Chelsea (£32 Million)

Another Chelsea player, and he's not the last on this list either (though surprisingly, there's only one more?). That's right, it's Eden Hazard. There's been big hopes for the former Lille man since before his arrival at Stamford Bridge, and he's made his way into the discussion about who the best player in the league is over the past couple of seasons. His pacey threat and knack for goals make him one of the most devastating attackers in Europe. But Hazard was expected to reach that level. The new Chelsea number 10 is perhaps worth double the £32 million figure the Blues paid for him in today's market, given the flashes of brilliance and increasing consistency he is displaying. His two years at Chelsea have been a relative success so far, but the Belgian maestro is going to get better and better in seasons to come. Look out, Premier League.
