15 Worst Ever English Football Kits

11. Blackburn Rovers: Goalkeeper 1993-94

Goalkeepers kits have always been tough to gauge, and presumably to design, due to the fact that they have to differ from the outfield kits. This has led to countless shocking and amusing designs that could have their own gallery. However Blackburn€™s attempt in 1993, produced by Asics, was particularly memorable as one of the earlier new styles of goalkeeper kit design. It€™s psychedelic colours and patterns dazzled fans and opposition strikers alike, often distracting them - suggesting method in the madness? This kit was designed around the same time as those of legendary Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos whose self-designed outfits were deliberately intended to put off opposition strikers with their vivid colours and patterns, and many assumed that Blackburn and other teams later in the 1990€™s were inspired by this ideal. It may have been true as Tim Flowers wore this as Blackburn finished runners-up that season, and a similar outfit when they won the league the following one.
