10. Nicoletta den Ridder
http://youtu.be/yli-Lsp2o9k Football nowadays is an equal-opportunity medium, with women as much as men having the chance to miss an absolute sitter in front of a large crowd. Nicoletta den Ridder was in the perfect place to finish off a free kick that had bounced off the post and was waiting two yards out from goal. The crowd were poised, the defense made no attempts to get near her, and the goalkeeper just waited to pick the ball out of the net. But, Ridder got far underneath the ball and launched her effort skywards, and the simple tap-in became a glorious error. Even the defenders behind her put their heads in their hands wondering how she was able to squander such a straightforward chance.
9. Kei Kamara
http://youtu.be/V_7atDXZexc Unless you are Diego Maradona, you cannot score a goal with your hands in football - it is basically rule 101. But, unfortunately if you ply your trade in a country where the word "football" means pigskin and touchdowns, a player is bound to get confused as to how they score goals. So, I feel sorry for Kei Kamara as he is merely a victim of his environment, and also because his legs appear to occasionally suffer from spontaneous collapse. He literally falls onto the ball to desperately throw some part of his body at it for the goal, and managed the bundle it in with one of the few limbs that it is illegal to touch. Decent attempt to con the referee by celebrating though.
