8. Nwanko Kanu
http://youtu.be/1jQG73v7X0U As an Arsenal fan, there will always be a special place in my heart for Nwanko Kanu, a player that could do things with the ball that no other man could possibly fashion. And nowhere was this more appropriately displayed than in a game between West Brom and Middlesbrough. With the ball practically begging to be nestled in the goal after an accurate cross into his path, Kanu's ability to astound the crowd was on full display. When an ordinary person would tap the ball over the line, he does the impossible by lifting it over the crossbar. A born entertainer, Kanu always managed to bring a smile to the face of the discerning football fan - except West Brom supporters of course. 7. Peter Van Vossen
http://youtu.be/1DEkKs_dj2I Derbies do not come more fierce and carry as much importance as games between Rangers and Celtic. The scorers in these games become heroes and their legacy with the club will be forever assured due to the significance their fans place on getting one over their bitter rivals. Peter Van Vossen has his own legacy associated with the Glaswegian Derby, but probably not one he would enjoy recalling. If you are going to make a serious blunder in a match, the Rangers fans are the last people you want to do it to. Van Vossen, clear on goal and about to add to the list of scorers in this most prestigious of matches, fluffed his lines and skied the ball harmlessly into the stands. Today, Van Vossen is a name not spoken in Glasgow, and instead they only persist with hushed legends of "the Scottish Miss".
