Despite the investment in German football's youth system yielding some of the most dazzling, free-flowing football in the world, British football pundits will never - never - stop referring to Deutschland's national side as 'the efficient Germans'. Think about that going forward. As long as the world avoids nuclear warfare or a fracking catastrophe, we're always going to have to live with this. Even the Germans' phenomenal World Cup win in 2014 has done little to change this most base and ignorant cliche, therefore we must take a stand. It's time to admit that the Germans are good at football, and not because they still bore the other side to death like in the bad old days, but because they pass, move and play them off the park.
