With Carlo Ancelotti seemingly approached by Real Madrid, a straight swap for the Portuguese manager could be best for both clubs. Although PSG have rejected the approach, Ancelotti may become unsettled due to this as the lure of Madrid may be too much for him to handle. Furthermore Carlo has achieved great things in his short spell for the French champions so he may seek to move on. Ancelotti has built a tremendous squad and put up a good fight in their Champions League encounter against Barcelona. The club have some of the best in the world: Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Lavezzi and many more, so Mourinho would not need to change the system too much. Furthermore, as stated in the Dortmund entry, JM is looking to conquer the French league and PSG are much more appealing than the likes of Lyon, Marseille and the rest of the Ligue 1 participants. Although St-Germain hardly need José as they already have a very talented and established manager in charge of the club, the temptation of a big name like Mourinho could be too much for the Sheikhs to handle. It is hard to see where PSG need to improve but Mourinho could reform the side into one which could be serious challengers in Europe. Also his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo and the huge amounts available at the side could mean a bid for the Portuguese winger which Ronaldo may consider. However Mourinho and Ibrahimovic have been known for their rifts in the past, so that is one issue which would need to be resolved should the Portuguese manager be appointed.
